Frequently asked questions.

WHEN DO YOU OPEN?

Our clinic is located at 3334 Richmond Avenue in the River Oaks District of Houston, Texas. We are currently under construction and are set to open in August 2025. We will open up our scheduling portal on August 1, 2025 to begin accepting new appointments starting on August 25, 2025.

WHAT TYPE OF PATIENTS WILL YOU SEE?

At Minnow Wellness, we specialize in perimenopausal patients. We have a heart and mission for improving the quality of care for middle aged women experiencing metabolic dysfunction and hormonal imbalance. With our functional medicine approach, we get to the root cause, and look at your whole body to find a better way. Sorry men, this clinic is not for you. However, we do have a Family Membership as many Mother - Daughter and even Grandmother trios are sharing in the walk to wellness.

DO I HAVE TO BECOME A MEMBER?

No. We offer all of our Membership Services a la carte, priced individually, for those of you on a laser-focused health mission. Our Membership Packages are for our patients looking for a holistic, one-stop shop for all of her wellness needs, without being “nickel and dimed” for every follow-up appointment, dosage change, or health inquiry.

How does it work?

Once you become a Minnow Member, we will schedule you for a Data Day, where you come into our clinic to provide blood work at our in-house blood lab, complete historical health paperwork, and perform a DEXA body composition scan. This is our day to get a complete picture of your health, as it is today.

Once your labs have been processed, our physician will spend a Discovery Day getting to know you as a patient, reviewing your files, your medical and family history, your current symptoms, your blood profiles, and your body composition. You are now a part of the Minnow Family, she will get to know you as such. You are not just a number in the machine. Minnow Memberships are capped to ensure quality relationships can sustain.

Then, we will schedule you to come back into our clinics for a final Discussion Day where you will meet one-on-one with our Physician to review your numbers, get to know them and ask questions. You will work together to define an optimal health vision, and you will receive a custom treatment plan to support you with your goals.

Finally, any follow-up adjustments to your treatment plan are included in the cost of membership. Blood work and DEXA scans can be conducted quarterly to track progress.
