Frequently asked questions.
WHEN DO YOU OPEN?
Our clinic is located at 3334 Richmond Avenue, Suite 208 in the River Oaks District of Houston, Texas. We are currently under construction and will open up our scheduling portal on September 15, 2025, to begin accepting new appointments starting September 22, 2025.
WHAT TYPE OF PATIENTS WILL YOU SEE?
At Minnow Wellness, we are proud to be a women’s-only functional health clinic dedicated to improving the quality of care for women. Our mission is to support women experiencing hormonal imbalances, gut microbiome concerns, and metabolic dysfunction.
With a functional medicine approach, we don’t just treat symptoms—we look at the whole body to uncover the root cause and guide you toward lasting wellness.
DO I HAVE TO BECOME A MEMBER?
No. We offer all of our Membership Services a la carte, priced individually, for those of you on a laser-focused health mission.
We also offer our a la carte Services bundled together, making it more affordable to book commonly paired services and more convenient to complete them all in a single appointment.
Our Membership Packages are for our patients looking for a holistic, one-stop shop for all of her wellness care, without the need to layer on additional costs throughout her health journey.
How does a MEMBERSHIP work?
Once you become a Minnow Member, we will schedule you for a Data Day, where you come into our clinic to provide samples at our in-house lab, complete historical health paperwork, perform a DEXA body composition scan and a qEEG brain map scan. This is our opportunity to get a complete picture of your health, as it is today.
Once your labs have been processed, our physician and physician assistant will spend a Discovery Day getting to know you as a patient, reviewing your files, your medical and family history, your current symptoms, your lab results, your body composition and your brain map. You are now a part of the Minnow Family, and they will get to know you as such. You are not just a number in the machine. Minnow Memberships are capped to ensure quality relationships can sustain.
Then, we will schedule you to come back into our clinics for a final Discussion Day where you will meet one-on-one with our Physician to review your numbers, get to know her and ask questions. You will work together to define an optimal health vision, and you will receive a custom treatment plan to support you with your goals.
Finally, any follow-up adjustments to your treatment plan are included in the cost of membership. Lab work and DEXA scans can be conducted regularly to track progress.
WHAT about supplements and/or medicationS?
At Minnow Wellness, we believe in empowering women with the knowledge and confidence to make the best choices for their health. Our providers are able to prescribe a wide range of supplements and pharmaceuticals. Please note that supplements, prescriptions, hormone therapy, peptide therapy, and intramuscular injections are typically available at an additional cost and are billed at the time of service. All treatments are dependent on each patients’ individual need determined at the time of service with a licensed provider.
Do you perform Well Woman EXams?
Yes. Our OB/GYN Dr. Michele Storey conducts all of our well woman exams. Mammograms are referred out to a trusted imaging partner.
Do you ACCEPT INSURANCE?
To provide each patient with the time and attention necessary to treat in an integrative manner, we cannot accept insurance.
We may be able to take HSA or FSA payments depending on the provider. Please confirm with our office before booking your appointment.
We will provide documentation of your visit that you may be able to submit to your insurance carrier.
Do you ACCEPT Patients from out of state?
We do see patients from other states, but they have to be physically in the state of Texas to meet with a clinician.
